Individual Volunteer Opportunities
City on a Hill divides individual volunteer opportunities into
3 levels based on the area, time commitment and application requirements. New volunteers are encouraged to choose opportunities that will realistically fit into their schedules. For a more detailed description of each area, please download the Volunteer Opportunities Overview.
To start the volunteer registration process immediately, please complete an on-line registration form. Once the online registration form is complete, City on a Hill will follow-up with you to complete the volunteer application process.

Resources Team
City on a Hill is blessed to receive various donations from numerous stores for our ministry and to distribute to families and other inner city organizations. But with all of the donations, comes a lot of sorting and work. City on a Hill is looking for individuals to help pick-up, sort and test donations, make minor repairs to broken items, and prepare donations for distribution. Online Sales
New and used items are given to City on a Hill from companies/businesses that will be sold to help fund our ministry. City on a Hill is looking for a few dedicated individuals that are able to clean-up incoming products, take pictures of them and create a description and post on online sales websites (craigslist, eBay). Days and times are flexible during weekdays from 8:30-5pm.

Maintenance Volunteers
City on a Hill is looking for retired or available HANDY MEN would be able to come in during weekdays (8:30-5pm) to help with minor repairs or facility projects. Projects would include: painting, plumbing, electrical, grounds keeping, and seasonal projects.
